I have worked with Be Personnel for just over five years, employed as an external tutor working primarily with dyslexic, dyspraxic and autistic undergraduate and postgraduate students.

In my time with Be Personnel, I have been impressed by a number of features of the agency:

1.     Communications are excellent – timely, clearly expressed and yet friendly. I have never been kept waiting for a reply to my emails and I always know that if they do not know the answer to a question, Be Personnel will make appropriate enquiries straight away. They are totally approachable and make it clear that all issues are taken seriously.

2.     Be Personnel conveys a great sense of balance of loyalties, indicating that they value all stakeholders in the agency – in my case, students, external tutors, university disability staff and funding agencies.

3.     Be Personnel staff are always efficient and capable. Despite the potential for mistakes in processing paperwork, timesheets etc., I have yet to experience problems or inaccuracies.

I’ve happily worked for Be Personnel for seven years. Their strength is in staff communication which is a vital component when working remotely as I do. On the rare occasions that I’ve had to call their office, someone has been available to answer any queries, which is essential in this type of working environment. I get regular calls or voicemails alerting me to check emails which I really appreciate. Any information they send me is accurate – I don’t have to ask twice. On the most important note, as an employee submitting time sheets every week, there is always the possibility that something will be missed but the staff work with accuracy and I’m always impressed that the payments go through smoothly. Given that they deal with a government agency on my behalf, I feel quite shielded from the horrors of bureaucracy.  The office keep me updated with new information and when I make an error they are very forgiving and seem to be able to put it right really quickly.
