An established and leading international provider of work wear, have an opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager to join their successful team.
The role of the Territory Sales Manager will be to develop catalogue sales and grow a new business portfolio within the East London and East Anglia areas during an exciting expansion period. Spending 4 out of 5 days in the field selling direct to Clients, the Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for a varied portfolio of accounts with a 75% new business and 25% existing business structure. With emphasis on growth through winning, retaining and growing business the successful candidate will work to achieve margin and profit targets.
The successful candidate will manage critical paths in line with Client and business requirements. Working with their Clients, the Territory Sales Manager will maintain an accurate stock forecast to achieve a smooth contract implementation as well as conducting account meetings/reviews, delivering management information and maintaining key account relationships.
The successful candidate will be sales hungry with a ‘whatever the weather’ selling attitude. With the requirement for travel to the Bristol-based head office, it is essential that the Territory Sales Manager has a full driving license.
Person Specifics:
- A passion for sales is a ‘must’ for this position
- Experience of cold calling and drop-in visits is essential
- Experience of working to a short sales cycle, in a fast paced environment
- Experience of B2B sales with a proven track record in the SME arena
- Comfortable working in a targeted and commission-focused environment
- High levels of confidence and self motivation
- Full driving licence
- Experience within work wear/office products/directory sales/industrial cleaning supplies or into the private healthcare sector is desirable
- Experience of account management is preferred
