Our Client have an opportunity available for a Food Process Development Technologist to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role of the Process Development Technologist will be to manage all aspects of new product development from kitchen approval through to launch as well as additional process improvement and cost engineering projects.

As part of this, the key tasks of the Process Development Technologist will be (although are not limited to):

• Conducting and supervising all factory trials and providing detailed results of findings
• Ensuring that all projects are costed correctly

• Carrying out all administrative duties from factory and process trials
• Carrying out general trend, competitive and research work to identify opportunities for improvements to current processes
• Liaising and communicating with all departments and internal staff including the Technical team and Manufacturing team
• Conducting quality taste panels and collating results
• Attending Client meetings as required.

In return, the successful candidate will receive a starting salary of up to £24k plus the opportunity to develop their career within a growing company.
